Gilaaaa, itu kata yang keluar dari mulut gue pas tahu ada gempa (yang lumayan dahsyat) di Yogyakarta!!! Oow, what would happen this time? Only God knows..yang jelas, gempa yang terjadi di hari Sabtu pagi itu telah meluluhlantakkan kota yang sempet gw kunjungi tepat satu bulan yang lalu..

Gue sedih banget deh, kayaknya bencana ga abis-abis merudung Indonesia? terlepas dari semuanya itu, gw rasa hal ini emang merupakan suatu alarm dari yang di atas sana..

ok, balik lagi, gw barusan baca di Yahoo, korban yang meninggal di Yogya udah mencapai 4.600 orang. Heey, that's not just numbers!! they're human!!huhuhu, sedih banget deh.. kalo kemaren-kemaren gw sempet mendengar gempa di Iran, yeah, sekarang terjadi lagi, di kota Yogyakarta..

gw jadi inget, pas gw ke Yogya, semua orangnya ramah-ramah abis..dan sekarang gw bayangin mereka sedang terkena musibah. Masihkah ada senyum di raut mereka? yang jelas, walaupun senyum mereka hilang, harapan mereka tetaplah ada...

when the time to choose has come

I looked at a clear sky above me, watching birds flying through the clouds. I could feel that my mind was elsewhere, though my feet stood on the ground. Hmmm, I gave a very long breathe and tried to calm down myself. My mind was set into the past. Jorn and I are now in a relation we call 'long distance'. It's been 7 months since I left The Netherlands. I miss him so much so that I can't get him out of my mind. 7 months is not a short time, when you are waiting on it, but on the other hands, 7 months is not a long time when you are enjoying it.
Now, the time to choose has come..I must admit that I have a very big dream of my life. Yeah, I want to be a CEO. Yup, that's right..Chief Executive Officer..and I want to struggle in my life to achive my dream. It would not be a problem if I have a time frame to establish it, but seems that Jorn wants me to stay in The Netherlands by summer 2007. I am afraid that I can't achieve my dream at summer 2007.
I am very confused at this time. I know that I must not be naive. what I can do is to work the best and to maximize the time before summer 2007

Horeee, akhirnya gue sembuh dari sariawan gue yang guede ini!!! kayaknya itu juga bukan sariawan de, melainkan luka yang timbul akibat gigi geraham gue yang paling belakang..hehehe..akhirnya gue bisa makan dengan layak lagi!! hahahaha..dendam yang terbalaskan..hahaha..

Anyway, gue senang banget deh akhir pekan ini..kenapa? ada tiga alasan kenapa gue senang banget, eh, empat deh...yang pertama tentunya adalah sembuhnya sakit di mulut gue..artinya gw bisa makan2 lagi...waaahhh, bersyukur deh punya kesehatan..kedua, (yang ini agak-agak aneh)..gw ketemu teman Indo yang g** pula!!! eh, dia itu ternyata teman satu les gue juga dulunya. Kebayang ga sih betapa senangnya gue..artinya gw bisa cerita-cerita segala macam tanpa ada masalah kendala bahasa..jadi ceritanya gini..pagi-pagi itu gue chat di channel khusus gay lengkap dengan foto gue..ternyata ada satu anak Melayu yang PV-in gue..ya kita ngobrol2 dulu sampe akhirnya dia kasih tahu profilnya ke gue, hahahaha, ternyata dia!! langsung kita janjian ketemu di Amsterdam untuk jalan-jalan sambil cerita-cerita kehidupan kita di sini...hehehe, seru, man!!! Ketiga, keesokan harinya, gw maen2 ke tempat seseorang yang pernah dekat dengan gue..sudah lama ga ketemuan, ternyata dia makin ganteng saja..tapi sayang, gue dan dia ga akan bisa seperti dulu :( Nah, yang keempat adalah malam ini gw akan host dinner dengan teman-teman yang lain..hehehe..senangnya..jadi entar malam, kita akan makan ayam dengan sop dan lain sebagainya..ga ada yang spesial sih, tapi selalu deh, kalo gw jadi host suatu acara makan-makan, bawaannya senang melulu..hehehe..ya wiss, deh..entar gw lanjut-lanjut ceritanya yak..

It was 1pm in this cold afternoon when I saw on a newspaper that someone in Paris stays comma. It was not really a shocking news at all for me, well, at least, he has been in Paris since days ago. Yasser Arafat, a charismatic Palestinian leader is in comma now. Despite his age, I still condiser that Yasser Arafat is such a great leader the world has known. His struggle and his dedication for his people has nothing to be proved more. My deep deep wish for him that he gets better soon..

Duuuhhh!! Gw lagi sariawan nee..gede banget lagi..mana ada di ujung lagi..jadinya agak2 susah kalo mau makan..gw aja tadi makan pizza sampe perjuangan getoo..tapi ga papa lah..semoga besok gw udah mendingan..Udah liat posting gw sblmnya? Ada moviemaker yang dibunuh karena doi orangnya kritis gitu de..baru-baru ini dia membuat pelem mengenai perlakuan wanita2 Islam yang digebugin sama suaminya, dsb..mungkin ada ekstrimis yang ga suka, makanya si Theo Van Gogh, pembuat pelem tsb dibunuh..ditembak dan di-stab..serem juga ya..Gw sendiri suka baca kolomnya dia di koran2 sini (dia juga kolumnis)..

Malam ini gw cuma di depan komputer aja..browsing2 internet, ngepost blog gue yang laen, dan juga chat sambilan dengan teman gw..ya udah de, gue udah ngantuks ne..mau tidur..udah jam 9.38pm..besok kudu kerja lagi ne..selamat malam, Belanda..selamat pagi, Indonesia :)

I just heard the news on television that a famous and controversial Dutchfilmmaker was brutally murdered. Theo Van Gogh, 47, has been killed this morning 10am in Amsterdam. I myself has seen one of his movie, which in my opinion is a good movie. Van Gogh had made headlines recently with a film critical of some elements of Islamic culture. He also wrote columns about the Islam which were published on his Web site, www.theovangogh.nl, and Dutch newspaper Metro. He had reportedly received death threats following the airing of the film.

This news actually surprises me. Why is he being killed? What motive actually drives the killer to kill Van Gogh? Whatever it is, I just realize that we live in a world where violent and murder become more and more 'normal' and 'allowed'. We live in a world where if you don't like someone, kill him. We live in a world where people start to lose their human being. Theo Van Gogh might have his peace now to leave this world, but still, his death brings alarm signal for all of us, that the world now is no longer a safe place to live..

Pagi hari ini gue sedang ga enak badan nih..badan kok panas-panas, meriang, dan sariawan pula..tadi gue udah sempet ke supermarket sih, untuk beli buah-buahan..hehehe, abis jarang makan buah sih..ya udah, akhirnya gue lahap deh pisang dua biji..lumayan lah, agak mendingan sakitnya..doain gue cepet sembuh ya...

Anyway, gue seneng banget bisa nge-blog kayak gini..Gue bisa share apa yang gue rasakan, apa yang gue pikirkan, dan yang terpenting, gue bisa bagikan apa yang menjadi pikiran gw buat teman-teman semua..Tadi pagi sebenernya gue udah ngepost satu artikel lagi mengenai Dreams, sudah selesai gue tulis dan gue edit sedikit, pas gue mau send, ternyata sistemnya lagi error gitu..jadinya ngehang dan ga ke-upload..parahnya, gw belom save sama sekali..yang ada ilang semua de..tapi tenang aja, gw pasti post-in lagi de versi keduanya..sabar aja ya..

Hari ini gw libur dari kerja, karena gue ga enak badan..mungkin karena ada perbuahan cuaca yang ekstrim, jadinya badan gw kudu menyesuaikan dulu..yeah, hari ini gw akan istirahat dulu de, di rumah, nonton TV, denger musik, sama mungkin baca buku..buku apa aja will be good deh buat gue...last word, hope this day bisa jadi hari yang sama menyenangkannya buat gue..Amin..

What pops in your mind when you hear about gay? Men with those tight shirts and go clubbing every weekend? or those queer boys who dance all night long in the trendiest bar in towns? Heej, is that far you can go? well, you are not exactly right and not exactly wrong. It is true if gay men usually wear the most up to date fashion, well, may be those black shirts and vertical lines are forever for them, and you are right about those queers dance in the hottest spots of the town..but there are also more emotionally aspect whom you will find also in hetero relationship! WHATZ? emotionally? come on, you must be joking!!! Gay men only know sex, sex, and sex...heeey, relax and stand back..Yes, you hear it right.Emotionally!! Gay men also really considers about emotionally aspect, such as love, happiness, care, tender, sad, pain, and even betrayal.

I know a gay couple who have been living together for 17 years (quite a long time for male, isn't it?). Just say their names are Bert and Jan. They say it is true that sex plays important roles in their relationship, but as the number increases in their relationship, sex gives the role to love and care..They just feel better compared to those guys who are always in the bar every weekend and every night looking for sex. Of course, we speak over emotionally aspects, where they do not have to worry about the sex stuff, because they trust each other and open to each other..

I myself have my own experience. My former boyfriend really showed his love to me..We had a great time together and also our ups and downs. Though both of us like sex very much (who doesn't anyway?), we still place those emotionally aspects between us. Once, I was in Milan and could not go back to The Netherlands due to the lost of my wallet, I know whom I can relied on..my boyfriend..soon I called him and told all the stuff, and immediately, he helped me with all his best..I know from that moment, our relationship were on a right track..

I do believe in love between men..Love between two guys who love each other..not only for the lust, but for the love..and how about you? I hope you do...

Hoahhmmm, hari ini kok kayaknya ngantuk banget ya..Jam di komputer gue udah menunjukkan pukul 5.34pm, tapi yeah, cuaca kayaknya udah gelaaapp banget..maklum de, sekarang udah mau Desember, jadinya musim pun udah berganti..
Duduk di depan komputer tanpa tahu mau makan apa nanti malam, udah cukup membuat suasana saat ini sangat amat sorrow..tapi ga pa pa deh..yang namanya hidup kan harus ada sorrow-sorrownya sedikit..jangan ceria-ceria terusan ;)
Eh, gue kudu cabut ne, mau lihat2 dulu persediaan makanan apa yang masih ada di kulkas..gue rasa gw akan masak beef steak aja de..gampang sih caranya hehehe..udah gitu gw mau mandi dan santai-santai nonton TV..yeah, gitu de kehidupan di sini..banyak yang bilang statis, banyak yang bilang bosenin, tapi sejauh ini..so far so good deh buat gue..hehehe (sebenernya gue cuma menghibur diri aja sih..hehehe)

Gay!!! You might have heard about this term since you were teenager. Indonesian has many terms regarding to these so called-sexual disorientation (bah, I really hate to use this term!!). Hombreng, PLU (People Like Us), and many more are used for gay. What does gay actually mean? According to hyperdictionary.com, gay means someone who practices homosexuality; having a sexual attraction to persons of the same sex. These definition are clear enough to state that when man has a sexual encounter with man, the man has tendency to be gay!!

The world history shows that gay has existed long time ago. All of us know the city of Sodom and Gomorah, whose the majority of citizens were gay people. We also know that most of famouse people are gay, like Leonardo Da Vinci, MichelAngelo, and even The Great Alexander once in his life had a man-to-man sexual encounter!! so, seems that gay things are not new, are they?

Nowadays, in this modern society, unfortunately, it is not easy for a person being gay. Why is it not easy? First of all, I must say that I talk in general context, not in eastern society nor western society. I know that all perception tend to say that western societies are more open to this issues, but I can say, when it comes to an individual thoughts, it is the same question arises..why am I gay? This is the most difficult part of a gay stage in someone's life, I guess..

My point is..gay has been known since the world has its glory, so, when you, yes, YOU! find yourself that you are gay, heey, it is not the end of the world! look at those Italian artists, look at that Great Alexander, and even look at me and the rest of Indonesian gay men..you are not alone here..you have friends ;)

Heeey, welcome to my blog. I just find that creating a blog is really nice for me, as I can publish and share what I think and what I feel. Actually, this blog was created for the purpose of sharing my thoughts about someone's sexual orientation. I do believe that God has created us in His own way. He may create us as we are now on purpose ;) Guess it's better to tell you a brief about myself before I get started.
I do have a name, and the name was given by my parents is not really important here, so I prefer call myself Pedro, which I think is a nice name. I was born 23 years ago in Jakarta, Indonesia. I am a male by nature, and I am glad that I am ;) Well, my hobbies range from simple stuffs such as reading a book, just chilling out in the park, to the extreme ones, like bungee and parasailing. Guess that's for now. Really, I am bad if it comes to describe my self.. :)
